Responsibilities
- Calculating and filing VAT returns in a detailed and timely manner, ensuring the highest accuracy is maintained.
- Book-keeping
- Preparing and completing management accounts and statutory accounts.
- Remaining consistently up to date with VAT law and any changes in VAT legislation.
- Providing great customer service to build trust, rapport, and a strong relationship with your portfolio.
- Collaborate with the team in a positive and enthusiastic manner.
Essential skills, knowledge, and experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent command of Mandarin and English. Speaking/ writing in simplified Chinese is essential.
- Competent numerical and IT skills
- Experience in working related to VAT/Accounting/Corporation Tax.
- Confident and with excellent communication skills for client interaction and engagement (Email, Phone, and face to face).
- Works well in a team as well as independently.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills.
- Organised and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent multi-tasking ability.
Desirable skills, knowledge, and experience
- Degree in Accountancy / Finance is preferred.
- ACA, ACCA qualified is preferred.
- Working experience in accounting.
