Role Overview & Responsibilities

Already an experienced Support Practitioner and looking for a move or are you someone who has always wanted to work in social care? No experience needed, we will train and support you!


Sense Scotland are currently seeking a Support Practitioner to work within our 24 hour housing support services in Fort William, Highlands. This is a full time, permanent position offering 37 hours per week plus excellent staff benefits including £500 bonus when you complete your probationary period.


We care, connect and communication while supporting people with a range of complex needs so they can live independent fulfilling lives.


What your day will look like:


You will be working with people on a 1-2-1 basis or as part of the team helping to support and assisting people in their day to day lives, whether it be cooking, communicating, shopping, going out for the day. cinema, arts, bowling or walking. We take the time to get to know the people we support and take a person-centred approach to care. You will be supporting people in a housing support setting and working various shift patterns. The role will include person care, from helping someone brush their teeth or combing their hair. No two days are the same!
