RenewAire is seeking a skilled Fabrication Technician to join our team. The Fabrication Technician will be responsible for producing parts on state-of-the-art sheet metal equipment. The ideal candidate will bring their current fabrication experience and have a desire to grow in expertise as we grow to support other teammates in the department.

RenewAire is the industry-leader in manufacturing Energy Recovery Ventilation systems which provide healthy indoor air and reduce HVAC costs for both our Residential and Commerical customers. Our newly renovated Dane facitlity is climate controlled and clean, and we offer excellent pay and benefits starting on Day One.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain state-of-the-art sheet metal equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings

Set up and adjust machines to produce high-quality sheet metal parts

Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues

Collaborate with and lead team members to improve production processes and efficiency

Perform material handling of raw metal sheets and finished product with attention to detail.

Complete all necessary forms including but not limited to non-conforming, part shortage, documentation, and engineering changes.

Collaborate with, support, and suggest opportunities to engineers and programmers to reduce cycle time, material waste, and increase quality in the fabrication department.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Metal Fabrication courses a plus.

Minimum of 1 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication (Trumpf) such as laser, punch, panel bender and/or press brake equipment a plus

Desire to grow in expertise and be the point person in the facility

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings

Strong attention to detail and quality control

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
