Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a 33 bed EMI residential care home based in Sketty, Swansea under new management. We are looking for a reliable and motivated residential care assistant who is medication trained or willing to learn. Hours are 8pm to 8am. Must be flexible as you will have to cover bank holidays and weekends in rotation.

Responsibilities and Duties-To give out medication to all residents or willing to learn, to assist in keeping our residents well, healthy and happy including helping with personal when needed to those living with dementia. You will require patience and understanding with the challenges that present working in such a busy challenging environment. You will need to be confident and professional as the post involves liaising with Families/Doctors and Social Workers. You will have to undergo an enhanced DBS check - paid by applicant.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

  • supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
