Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for our clients based in Chesham. This is being recruited on a Temp – Perm basis, with immediate start available.

The successful candidate will be dealing with products coming into the warehouse on a daily basis.
<br><br>
The role will provide future training and development opportunities for the right individual.
<br><br>
<b>As a Warehouse Operative –
Duties will include:</b><br>
Loading and unloading materials
<br><br>
Checking loads are loaded correctly and secure
<br><br>
Moving pallet packed materials around the site
<br><br>
<b>Adhering to procedures re:</b> health and safety and manual handling
<br><br>
Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance
<br><br>
To ensure all stock is checked & booked in accurately in accordance with procedures.
<br><br>
To liaise with Quality control regarding any non-conformity relating to incoming goods and ensure all stock carries a product label to facilitate & aid the tracking of the associated stock movements and batch traceability.
<br><br>
Recording of changes to vehicle collection and delivery times and timely notification of short deliveries and late deliveries to the procurement team and operations.
<br><br>
Main point of telephone contact for general internal warehouse enquires.
<br><br>
Collate and provide information to the warehouse management regarding fast-track deliveries for management meetings daily and to organise the receipt of bulk tanker deliveries and ensure the procedures are adhered to.

Ensure all records are up to date of the pallet management.
<br><br>

In return, the client is offering a salary rate of £11.31 per hour, working hours can be flexible, core hours being 08:30am – 17:30pm Monday – Thursday, there is the opportunity though to work from 07:00 to 18:00.

This is being recruited on a temp- perm basis, with an opportunity for a permanent contract after 12 weeks.
