Role Overview & Responsibilities

SmithBrewer located just off J22 of the M5 in Somerset, design, manufacture and supply interior fixtures, graphics, and signage predominantly within the UK retail sector.

The prime role of this position is to provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping and receiving warehouse products, as well as picking and packing of workloads ready for dispatch.

v Keeping a careful record of the stock on the warehouse management system, so that it can be located quickly.

v Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored safely and labelled correctly.

v Picking and packing daily orders, organising the loading bay for courier collection.

v Organising transfers and loading goods on to delivery vehicles.

v Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine.

v The ideal candidate will have manufacturing or warehouse experience

v The ideal candidate will have a valid external Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence or both

v This role may include some driving of company vans and cars

This is a permanent position for the correct candidates, with multiple roles available.

Starting rate from £11.00 per hour – dependant on existing skills and experience

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £11.00 per hour
