Social Bite is a sandwich shop with a difference. Every day we provide free food to 150 people from the homeless community in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. We work to end people’s isolation and exclusion by helping them overcome barriers.
Social Bite is looking for someone wonderful to join our team on a casual contract to provide holiday cover and general support during peak times of activity in primarily as a Coffee Shop Team Member.
Our team is energetic and enthusiastic with a passion for customer service. This is a job for someone special who loves variety – every day brings something new.
Social Bite’s perfect Coffee Shop Team Member will come with experience in restaurants or cafes and a desire to join our collaborative movement to end homelessness. You will enjoy working as part of a team, always bringing a smile and a can-do attitude to your work.
We need you to be:
- A people person with a desire to delight our customers
- Flexible with a willingness to learn
- Hard-working and reliable with good time management skills

Shifts are available on a zero hours contract, hours between will range dependant on business requirements. Hours will be arranged in advance as much as possible on a flexible basis however on occasion immediate shifts may be offered. Immediate start available.
