We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Web Designer to join our team in Bournemouth. As a Junior Web Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting web design projects and contribute to the overall look and feel of our digital presence.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior web designers and developers to create visually appealing websites that meet client requirements and align with the company's brand guidelines.
- Assist in implementing SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and improve website performance.
- Create graphics, icons, and other visual elements to enhance the aesthetics of websites.
- Build websites using CMS systems such as WordPress.
- Help with front-end development tasks, such as coding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and content to ensure consistency in design and messaging.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Assist with website maintenance and updates, including content updates, bug fixes, and performance optimisations.
Ideal applicant will have:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience or understanding of SEO and managing marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior designers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
