Swanline Print Ltd is a UK market leader in the trade supply of specialist printed packaging and point-of-sale displays.
A newly created position is available as a Cleaner, supporting Swanline to embed high cleaning standards throughout the business, creating / ensuring the business premises are a clean, healthy and a safe working environment for all. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking for employment; this is a role that suits an applicant that is enthusiastic, organized, & willing to show initiative on a daily basis.
The position is for 30hrs per week (Mon-Fri)
Key Duties
- Preparing areas for cleaning
- The cleaning of specific types of areas such as offices, toilets, walls, floors, kitchens, canteens, changing rooms, office and factory bins.
- Placing warning signs to alert people to potential hazards such as wet floors and spillages.
- Emptying waste bins, bagging up rubbish and making sure it is disposed of correctly
- Instructing and overseeing onsite contracted cleaning services, documenting and reporting cleaning standards where necessary
- Ensuring cleaning products and equipment are stored correctly and safely
- Monitoring levels of cleaning materials, recording stock levels and ordering supplies when necessary
- Maintaining up to date cleaning records and charts to comply with BRC standards

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
