Further Information

You will join a busy team which carries out the administration and enforcement of a wide range of licensing activities including the licensing of alcohol and entertainments under the Licensing Act 2003, licensing of gambling premises under the Gambling Act 2005, licensing of drivers, vehicles and operators under hackney carriage and private hire legislation and animal licensing. The role includes dealing with a range of licence applications and dealing with members of the public, applicants and licence holders in person, via email and over the telephone.
The post involves working in the office, from home and on site and working at night/early hours of the morning and weekends on a regular basis as part of the normal duties of the post.
