Job Title - Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Rate - £35,000 - £37,500
Shift - 3 x 12 hour day shifts per week (Monday to Friday for the first 6 months in order to receive training)
Synergi are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading printing companies based in Bungay, on a permanent days shift pattern. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established company, who have been running for over 200 years. Responsibilities Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
This role of the mechanical maintenance engineer will require someone with extensive mechanical knowledge to provide reactive & planned maintenance on high-speed production lines to ensure minimum downtime. Previous experience in a fast-paced environment would be an advantage.
Job duties of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
Carrying out Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance on site to reduce machine
downtimes.
Sharing of Technical Skills & Knowledge to improve overall team performance
Identify & Present improvements to enhance site efficiency & reliability
Read mechanical drawings and schematics to fix the fault or improve the problem.
Experience with printing presses, cylinders & bearings is hugely advantageous.
Please note you must have served an NVQ engineering apprenticeship (Level 3). A HNC/HND would be beneficial but not essential.
