We are delighted to be working with our client who are a successful manufacturer based on the outskirts of Ipswich who are looking to recruit a full time Production Assistant.
The Production Assistant's Primary Objectives are to:
- Support production planning and control
- Ensure production documents and spreadsheets are kept up to date to customers and company specification
- Process customer orders and raise product working instructions
- Stock control
- Raise purchase orders
- Communicate with Production Office, Setting Staff/ Quality Inspectors and Warehouse Staff
- Cover production during absences or holiday
- Be confident and competent in using computer programmes- Microsoft 365 applications/ writing emails professionally
- Using Pegasus Opera 3 software for stock control and order processing (in-house training will be given if no previous experience)
- Assist colleagues within other areas of the business as the business needs require
- To operate within and adhere to the company's Health and Safety Policy in all aspects of the role
- Ensure PPE is worn at the start of the shift and throughout
