Our Team

To maintain our rapid growth, we need an amazing Software Tester to join our Development Operations team. Our product exists to measure the potential and suitability of candidates for particular roles. It is web based with a front-end written in JS/jQuery/Vue and a PHP backend working with a MySQL database. For the most part your role will be to help ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability in a DevOps environment and as part of a Scrum team.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Scrum team members, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to identify testing needs and ensure that all testing activities are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive and effective testing of our software in a DevOps environment.
  • Design, develop and maintain automation testing frameworks and tools.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate testing practices and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all testing activities are performed in accordance with Agile/Scrum principles.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools, including automation testing frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies in a DevOps environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

What You Can Expect

  • A competitive basic salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • 25 days holiday per annum (plus bank holidays.)

  • Working business hours from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. with some degree of flexibility
