Position: Farm Worker - Variable Crop Harvesting / Yard Work
Location: Lincolnshire, UK
Working Hours: 5 days a week, from 7:00 am until finish (variable end time depending on daily workload)
Responsibilities:
Harvesting: Engage in the thrilling process of harvesting a diverse range of crops, with precision and care.
Pallet Assembly: Skillfully arrange harvested produce onto pallets, following specific guidelines to ensure efficient packing and preservation of quality.
Loading for Farmers Markets: Collaborate with the team to load pallets onto designated vehicles, preparing them for transportation to local farmers markets.
Quality Control: Adhere to high-quality standards, meticulously inspecting produce for freshness, uniformity, and any signs of damage.
Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe working environment, diligently following all health and safety guidelines while operating farm machinery and handling equipment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in farm work, particularly in harvesting and handling produce, is preferred but not essential.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate varying harvest demands.
