This is an opportunity to join a first-class team of dedicated professionals.
We require a Personal Care Assistant to support a man with learning difficulties to live independently in his own home and participate in activities around the community.
Post-pandemic activities will include:
- swimming
- bike riding
- sailing
- bowling
- dog walking.
You are not expected to participate in any activity requiring specific skills such as sailing, merely to assist where appropriate.
The post includes day-care, sleep-ins and some weekend working.
You must be comfortable with lone working and have a full driving licence as the client has his own car. The client requires assistance with all aspects of personal care and training is provided, although some experience would be an advantage.
We work on a rolling rota basis of two day care shifts and two sleep-in shifts per week and the regularity of the shift pattern is an attractive feature for lifestyle planning.
