We are looking for an experienced Café Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of café operations, including customer service, menu development, staff management, and financial planning. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to motivate and lead a team. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Manage staff and ensure that all employees are performing their duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised café environment.
- Ensure that all customer service standards are met.
- Maintain inventory of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales.
- Staff training. Train new employees on café operations and customer service standards as well as developing the skills of the current team.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Schedule staff shifts.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations - including those relating to food allergies.
- Complete payroll and till reconciliation paperwork.
- Plan new and update existing menus and specials.
- Cooking skills is a must as you will need to cover the kitchen when staff are ill or to cover holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £23,319.00-£24,344.00 per year
