You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance as and when required.
To do well in this role you should have previous experience in a maintenance based role, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools and be able to understand schematics and repair manuals.
This is a full time permanent position.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting routine inspections of our premises and equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
- Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
- Taking apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogues as necessary.
- Use of common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, sanders and wrenches.
What we are looking for:
- Experience with basic plumbing, electrical and painting/ decorating works is desirable.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices (PAT).
- A current driving license is essential.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
