Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Paws Pack UK are looking for an experience, qualified groomer to work a minimum of 3 days a week in a well established and booked grooming parlour. Upon taking on this extra help, the business will get busier meaning that more working hours/days will be available should the successful candidate wish to accept them.

Having been open for over a year now, we have a regular, reoccurring client base in place and we are getting to the stage now we can offer a minimum of 3 full days grooming taking the right person on board. All appointments are booked in in advance and keeping to the schedule is essential. We are proud to offer performance reviews every 3-6months which may lead to pay rises and/or contract hours being increased. We also offer incentives which are rewarded monthly when targets are hit.

Groomer MUST be:

  • Fully trained with at least 6 months experience, grooming & styling to pet (essential) and breed standard (preferred but not essential).
  • Confident from start to finish.
  • Able to communicate effectively & professionally with customers.
  • Able to groom from beginning to end at least 4 dogs a day to a professional high standard with minimal/no assistance.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Friendly, reliable, professional & have very good time keeping.
  • Confident phone manner and skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to our salon
  • Have the basic equipment already - clippers, scissors etc

Experience portfolio may be requested before interview and trial.
