Imaging Assistants are an integral part of the Radiology Team providing a high standard of patient centered care in order to deliver and maintain a good patient experience.
We are looking for an individual with:
GCSE (or equivalent) in four subjects, including English Language and Mathematics
Experience in a caring/clerical post
Committed to providing quality care
Highly motivated and want to be a part of a dedicated team
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong patient focus

The Radiology facility at New Cross Hospital is a purpose-built unit completed in 2003, where facilities for patients and staff are excellent. There is an additional Radiology facility at Cannock Chase Hospital and this post may include cross-site working.
The post will be a support role to patients undergoing examinations and procedures. Assisting consultants and radiographers performing radiology examinations also form part of the role. Patient manual handling is an integral part of this role. We have Full and Part-time hours available Participation in the Bank/Statutory Holiday rota is a requirement of this post.
