Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our Asset Repairs Surveyors provide a crucial function in the delivery of a highly professional service to tenants. The primary focus of the role is the delivery of all elements of surveying which include, Day to Day Repairs, HHSRS, Decent Homes, Stock Condition, Forward Planning and Customer Consultation Surveys.

Working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders across the business, the Asset Repairs Surveyor will work in partnership with other Asset Management colleagues to deliver a seamless service to customers.

The role will be based at Bank Park House but will involve working at our properties across Liverpool, Warrington and St Helens.



This is an important role in which you will:

  • Carry out a range of asset management related surveys and manage works on site with close monitoring of contractor performance, including updating internal systems as required to ensure that accurate records are always maintained.
  • Be the first point of contact for customer queries and complaints, taking necessary action to resolve issues as quickly and efficiently as possible, minimising formal complaints.
  • Determine the condition of existing buildings, identifying and analysing defects, including proposals for repair or appropriate action. determine the condition of existing buildings, identifying and analysing defects, including proposals for repair or appropriate action.


To be successful in this role you will:

  • Possess a Level 4 qualification in Construction or equivalent building experience.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Possess an excellent level of knowledge in supporting the delivery of responsive and planned maintenance, investment and refurbishment schemes
  • Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of construction legislation and experience in carrying out all type of building surveys.
  • Possess an excellent working knowledge of on-site health and safety legislation will be a requirement.
