Helston Community College, part of Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and committed Physics Teacher, to thrive in our supportive and well-resourced environment from September 2023. This position could be considered on either a part time or full time basis, and a recruitment allowance will be available for exceptional candidates.
We are looking for a person who is able to teach across the full age and attainment range at KS3, KS4 and KS5; a knowledgeable and inspirational teacher, who will share their expertise and love of the subject, and teach lessons that inspire and challenge students. The successful candidate will have a commitment to evidence-based teaching methods as demonstrated through professional development, and be able to work effectively as part of our dedicated and passionate Science Department. A level Physics is a very popular and successful course at the College.
