Telephonist (Part-time)
Underwoods Motoring are looking for a professional person to act as Telephonist (inbound call handler) for our busy motoring business.
The successful applicant must have a warm and welcoming demeanor, excellent telephone manner, with a professional and confident attitude. You must enjoy working with people, always willing to help and be considerate of our customer’s needs.
Duties will include:
- Acting upon incoming calls for all Underwoods locations
- Redirecting calls to the appropriate departments/locations
- Taking messages and sending e-mails accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring customer requirements are met
- Other administration (computer based)
The position is located in Sudbury and office based, focused predominantly on incoming calls. IT literacy is required.
This is a job share, so we are looking for people part-time during weekdays. Working days are; two days on (either Monday/Tuesday or Thursday/Friday) with alternate Wednesday. Working hours: 8:00-17:30 or 8:30-18:00 (1 hour for lunch). Optional Saturday available if desired.
As a job share you will be required to cover your job sharing colleague on holidays and (where possible) absenteeism.
