This is an exciting time for the George Baker group and we are looking for an office based full time accounts payable clerk to add value to our accounts team.
Key responsibilities
- Matching supplier invoices with accruals.
- Dealing with calls from suppliers
- Checking supplier statements against accounts system.
- Verifying supplier account balances
- Matching supplier payments against invoices.
- Other ad hoc accounting duties
Skills and experience
- Experience of working in a busy accounts office.
- Knowledge of Sage 50/200 accounts packages an advantage.
- Comfortable working on Excel spreadsheets.
- Numerate and accurate.
- Proactive approach. Ability to solve problems.
