This is an opportunity to join the Technical Services team as an IT Support Technician at the University of Brighton

This position will be based at Brighton City Campus with occasional requirement to work at Eastbourne Campus.

Join our dynamic Technical Services team as an experienced and qualified IT Support Technician. In this role, you will support IT, Media, and Audio-Visual facilities at the City Campus, including open access computer areas, IT teaching/training rooms, library computer facilities, lecture theatres, and flexible learning spaces. You will assist with maintaining the portfolio of offered IT services and feedback suggestions for improvement.

The successful candidate will have a relevant demonstrable competence and in-depth knowledge gained through considerable work experience in using and supporting specialist equipment and software in IT, Media, and Audio-Visual services.

As a permanent post holder, you will work 29.5 hours per week, excluding meal breaks, and enjoy opportunities for professional development, a supportive team environment, and the chance to work with state-of-the-art technologies. The working pattern is flexible and will be agreed with the successful candidate. The successful post holder may also be required to provide cover at the Eastbourne campus during periods of absence due to illness or leave.
