Do you have experience of developing and delivering simulated practice learning and placements, can demonstrate strong leadership, and have a passion for education and health and social care workforce development? If so, we want you to join our team.

The School of Health and Social Care is forward-thinking and ambitious, with plans to further develop simulation as an educational tool across the health and social care portfolio.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to drive innovation and development around how we use simulation to enhance practical skills development and simulated placements provision. You will join the School Leadership Team and will work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders to facilitate the creative design, delivery and evaluation of our simulated learning activities across the School. This role will also work as part of the Nursing and Midwifery Leadership Team with programme oversight and staff management.

You will have the opportunity to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders to collaboratively develop and implement a School Simulation Strategy to meet the School and University objectives, and you will also be encouraged to identify opportunities and ways to innovate our simulated provisions.

The quality of teaching and learning, and an excellent student experience are vital to us. We are looking for a dynamic leader who is a strong educationalist and a creative thinker, a collaborator and team player; you will be able to facilitate and support our staff to challenge their thinking. Adaptability and excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Situated in the heart of a beautiful and historic city, the University of Lincoln has built an international reputation for the quality of its teaching and research. Named as the Modern University of the Year in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021, the University has an ambitious 5-year strategic plan that underpins its aim to be a top 40 university by 2027. We are values driven and are focussed and ambitious, always evolving and looking for the next challenge.
