We are currently recruiting for a temporary Finance Assistant for a Summertown based Oxford University Department for 12 weeks in the first instance, paying £12.92 p/h.
Duties include:
- Respond to straightforward enquiries, providing advice on financial procedures and policies and referring to the Finance officer where necessary
- Responsible for raising purchase requisitions in the Oracle Financial System and deal with anomalies, escalating complex queries to the most appropriate person
- Responsible for raising invoices in the Oracle Financial system for income to be collected by a Faculty (e.g. Donations, conference income)
- Responsible for raising journals to correct coding mistakes in the Oracle Financial system
The Temporary Staffing Service supports University of Oxford departments and affiliated colleges with the recruitment of temporary admin and clerical staff.
