Enquiries & Admissions Officer

Job description

We are looking to appoint one Enquiries and Admissions Officer on a Permanent Part Time basis, working 25.9 hours per week. The structure of the week can be discussed at interview. This post

is within the Enquiries and Admissions Team, based within Future Students and is located at the Pontypridd Campus.


The Enquiries and Admissions Team manage all course enquiries and home and international applications for the University of South Wales. It is a very busy office, acting as first point of contact for enquirers and applicants, providing phone and Live Chat cover during office hours. Occasional weekend and additional hours of working will be required to support the work of the team.


The role of an Enquiries and Admissions Officer is an extremely important role, being the first point of contact for our enquirers and applicants and we are looking for candidates with a positive, can-do attitude, who are friendly, flexible and professional. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent customer care, be team players and have an aptitude for working in a busy environment.


The university is currently operating a hybrid-model of working, and, the successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week.
