The Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences (SIPBS) seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and competent Administrative Assistant with excellent organisational skills to work in their busy office. The successful candidate will join the administration team to provide flexible support in a number of areas. This includes; administrative support to Director of Research and Senior Professorial staff to assist in organising university-wide initiatives, documentation for internal and external view, minor financial duties and support for undergraduate programmes when applicable. SIPBS is a leading centre for research and education focused on the discovery, development and delivery of better medicines.
To be considered for this role you will be IT literate with experience of Microsoft packages. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, possess good team working skills and be able to work with accuracy and attention to detail. You should also be experienced in organising your own workload and have the ability to work under pressure, using your own initiative.

Previous experience working in the Higher or Further Education Sectors and a knowledge of University systems would be desirable but not essential.
