The Department of Language and Linguistic Science is seeking to appoint a Postgraduate Research Assistant to contribute to a funded project on bilingual development. Role

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed
- Knowledge of theories of bilingual development, including language attrition
- Knowledge of advanced statistical methods (e.g. mixed effects regression modelling and/or structural equation modelling)
- Ability to write up research work for publication in high profile journals and engage in public dissemination
- Demonstrable experience with project management and providing leadership to student assistant/fieldworkers
- Ability to work as part of a team and also to work independently using own initiative
