Salary range: £50,000 - £60,000 / annum

Key functions of the role:
Reporting to our Financial Controller, you will support on, and own key processes within our growing Finance team
Assisting with day-to-day banking tasks, such as paying invoices and matching receipts to sales invoices on our sales platform to mark as received
Assisting in the production of the monthly management accounts, including the accruals and prepayment schedules
Reconciliation of bank statements
Assisting with the monthly payroll run process and paying out monthly payroll
Offering suggestions to management to improve controls and processes in place
Updates to aged receivable listing and monthly reconciliation of aged receivables report (payables is maintained within Xero)
Assist with review of monthly expense items and classification of individual expense ledger items
Assisting our Financial Controller with audit of the financial statements
Requirements:
ACA or ACCA recently qualified (We’re also happy to hear from you if you’re part-qualified, but very close to being qualified)
An ambition to forge a career in the VC-backed startup world
You've worked with SME clients previously
Exceptional attention to detail and an analytical mind
Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
A proactive nature, keen to support on any task that helps the business
Experience with Xero
Nice to Haves:
If you've worked for another VC-backed SaaS startup, it would certainly help
Experience with Mosaic would be a big plus!
