Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a capable Warehouse Associate to support our company’s warehouse operations. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, sorting, storing, handling, preparing products for delivery and other various warehouse activities, while maintain the warehouse in a safe

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers or other warehouses accurately and

promptly

  • Verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list
  • Examine incoming shipments and reject damaged items; appropriately report/record any discrepancies
  • Accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner
  • Attach identifying tag/label to materials or marks information on cases, bales or other container
  • Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers
  • Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list
  • Review orders to determine if they were picked correctly
  • Ensure warehouse/equipment is maintained on a regular basis
  • Safely operate all necessary equipment in work area
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized on a daily basis
  • Abide by all company rules, policies and regulations

Competencies

  • Basic math and reasoning skills
  • Ability to understand and execute instructions
  • General understanding of warehouse organization and footprint

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move heavy products on a regular basis (50+ pounds)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven warehouse experience
  • Ability to operate forklift, scissor lift and other warehouse equipment
  • Team player with organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
