Class 2 HGV Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our drivers collect and deliver goods from warehouse to delivery address. They are expected to perform the following duties:

• Collecting and loading goods from a collection point and delivering them to various locations
• Packing the goods in the delivery vehicle in an organized manner to ensure efficient delivery
• Planning the most convenient route to the delivery address
• Doing regular maintenance checks on delivery lorries and reporting any issues to senior management
• Driving in inclement weather
• Delivering products in good condition to clients
• Interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner
• Unloading packages at the destination and completing necessary paperwork i.e. signature on delivery
• Updating route, mileage and delivery logs
• Collecting payments on delivery

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £45,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• LOUGHTON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
