Our drivers collect and deliver goods from warehouse to delivery address. They are expected to perform the following duties:
- Collecting and loading goods from a collection point and delivering them to various locations
- Packing the goods in the delivery vehicle in an organized manner to ensure efficient delivery
- Planning the most convenient route to the delivery address
- Doing regular maintenance checks on delivery lorries and reporting any issues to senior management
- Driving in inclement weather
- Delivering products in good condition to clients
- Interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Unloading packages at the destination and completing necessary paperwork i.e. signature on delivery
- Updating route, mileage and delivery logs
- Collecting payments on delivery
