Purpose of Role:
To work as part of a team ensuring goods are picked, packed and sent out in an accurate, timely, safe and cost efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the stock is correct
- Packing orders to ensure they travel without damages and with the correct packing list
- Ensuring the order goes to the correct delivery address
- Reading and acting on special instructions to avoid delay in delivery
- Being able to follow procedures on Sage and relevant carriers software
- Administration tasks for Customers as required
- Ensuring you remain professional when dealing with customers
- Assisting with Contracted / Export Bulk orders
- Assisting with cycle counts to ensure accuracy of stock
- Ensuring down time is minimised and always looking for ways to improve
- Ensure process documentation exists for all tasks, is accurate, updated regularly and followed
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping in packing areas

Location: Barrow in Furness, Cumbria
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time, 40 per week
Salary: Competitive plus benefits
