We’re now looking for an amazing Junior Copywriter to join our amazing Copywriting team, here at Webrecruit.
Copywriting at Webrecruit
Day-to-day, as a Junior Copywriter, you’ll be creating reflective job adverts that both inform about, and sell, job roles to candidates. We won’t ask you to reinvent the wheel or create your own language but we’re hoping that you’ll bring ideas and the willingness to learn every day.
You’ll have passion for the written word, dedication to a fancy turn of phrase and will know your oxford comma from your semi-colon (knowing when and where to add a hyphen would be a bonus too).
We’re all about the working from home life so a quiet corner with good internet access will be vital (we’ll supply the equipment, don’t worry about that). You’ll also need to be happy coming into the office once a week once trained and spending your first couple of weeks in our Exeter office for induction.
As part of our team mentality, you’ll liaise with clients via email and help our team staff group inboxes and respond to inbound calls.
What we’re looking for
Our Copywriters come from a wide variety of backgrounds, but we will be interested in your application if you possess at least one of the following:
- A degree-level qualification in a discipline such as Journalism, English or a writing-focused subject
- A recruitment background (with the desire to move into a creative field)
- A creative streak (and the ability to prove and improve your skills!)

We’re work-from-homers, Zoom and Teams ‘meetingers’ and DM chatters these days - we’re constantly in touch with one another despite being distanced; we are now also working back in the office one day a week!
