Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Security Officer at Wentloog Corporate Park (WCP) Cardiff CF3 2ER . The successful applicant will join a small team of an in house operation at WCP this being a large secure site in Cardiff. The role also involves monitoring other site via a CCTV system. The role is a permanent role on completion of a probationary period.. If the role is made permanent there may be an opportunity to gain experience in dog handling as part of your role.
The Main Duties are as follows:
- Traffic Management/ Barrier Operation
- CCTV Operation
- Front of house customer related matters/duties
- Site foot patrols
- Dog Handling Patrol and wellbeing
- Vehicle maintenance and cleaning
- Gatehouse Reception
- External mobile patrols/ mail run
- Tasks as defined by the Security Manager
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- SIA Licence and certificate
- Must hold a full driving licence and reliable mode of transport
Skills:
- Presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence
- Reliable, conscientious with an eye for detail
