Accounts Assistant Bookkeeper
Part Time 32 hours per week - Hillington, Glasgow (salary pro-rata)
We are looking for a well-organised, detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to join our award-winning team in Hillington, Glasgow. The ideal candidate for the Accounts Assistant Bookkeeper role has experience in preparing financial documents and is comfortable using computer software to help organize numbers and support departmental managers. We're looking for a professional with a strong grasp of accounting principles who is willing to go the extra mile to improve our company's accounting system.
Responsibilities for the role of Accounts Assistant Bookkeeper:
- Assisting with the daily updating banking transactions and reconciliations
- Reconcile daily banking, checking sales transactions with card, cash, receipts and actively resolve differences.
- Enter transactional data into the DMS and accounting systems.
- Preparation, distribution of various reports such as Daily Sales Reporting.
- Month-end processing tasks to assist the Financial Controller.
- Other Ad-hoc duties as required by the business.
What you need to succeed in the role of Accounts Assistant Bookkeeper
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Build strong working relationships across all departments in the business and 3rd parties.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
- Be highly organised with a logical approach to tasks.
- Conduct tasks with self-motivation and a desire to assist the workings of the department.
