Western Veterinary Partners (WVP) is a private equity backed Veterinary support organization. Focused on the Western states, WVP provides affiliated veterinarians with proven non-clinical business support functions, allowing veterinarians to spend more time with patients. Affiliated veterinarians benefit from economies of scale and professionally managed centralized non-clinical services such as provider recruitment, payables management, vendor management, capital equipment procurement, staffing management, finance, marketing, and information systems.
We are currently seeking a hands-on AP Specialist to join our high-growth, fast-paced veterinary company. The chosen candidate will be a team player and will focus on high volume accounts payable. The AP Specialist may also assist with other projects as needed. This role supports hybrid work and requires on -site work every other Wednesday.
Primary Responsibilities Include
Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy at a multi-entity levelEnter invoices into our accounting software and maintain vendor filesReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesResearch and resolve vendor and hospital inquiries and disputesEstablish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors and hospitalsMonth and year end close process
To Thrive In This Position Candidates Need To Have
Associates degree with 5+ years of accounts payable experienceExperience in a high volume, fast paced environmentEffective communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyOrganization and prioritizationCan work well both independently and on a teamProblem solving skills and ability to handle a variety of challenging situationsAbility to multi-taskLocal to the greater Denver area
The hourly salary range for this full-time position is $30 - $32 hourly . Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
