Role Overview & Responsibilities

WildTeam UK is a registered UK charity. At WildTeam we believe every
conservationist should have access to the skills, knowledge, and network they need to progress
their career and ultimately make a meaningful difference to our natural world, no matter who
they are and where they are from.

WildTeam UK is seeking an experienced operations staff member to join our small and dynamic
team as Operations Specialist. The focus of the position will be to provide
efficient and professional operational support in areas including finance, administration, HR
and governance, reporting to the Director of Operations.

The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years’ experience in finance, administration
and HR, and will treat operations as their chosen career path. A flexible approach will be
needed and for whom no task is too small. This role is home-based and therefore it is key that
you are able to and enjoy working from home, and are self-disciplined, well-organised and a
proven self-starter. You will be required to follow normal office hours.

The responsibilities of the position, along with the experience and skills needed, are detailed
in Table 1 of the job description. The most important qualities we look for in all our employees are a positive
attitude, a “one team” approach, and a strong personal motivation for wildlife conservation. We
also only select those that take responsibility for their work, can solve complex problems,
have a fearless attitude, and are ready for a challenge. A full description of WildTeam values
and attitudes are provided in Table 2.
