Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our Space Planning team as a Space Planning Assistant based on average two days a week in the Support Centre in Worksop and the rest remotely.

As our Space Planning Assistant, you’ll work with the space team to maximise the return on category space through the creation of customer focused and efficient planograms, which are delivered to retail right first time within an agreed timeframe.

Taking huge pride in what you do, your role will involve physically checking the accuracy of the layout builds in the mock shop ensuring these are delivered right first time for retail. You’ll be responsible for capturing the dimensions, images and any other product information as required. You’ll respond to store queries ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely manner. Along with:

  • You’ll capture core and promotional planograms accurately using Blue Yonder Space Planning systems.
  • Accurately capture fixtures and point of sale for planograms.
  • Assign and end stores in SAP.
  • Ensure relevant planogram changes are communicated effectively to retail.
  • Work with Buying, Merchandising, Brand, Quality Assurance and Trade Planning teams to ensure all deadlines are met.

For this role we need someone who has experience in a similar role and is proficient in using Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Someone who has excellent time management skills, effective communication and exceptional attention to detail is required for this role.

We know it’s not just about the role but how we can reward you too, so with this role comes a competitive salary, a brilliant rewards scheme, 28 days holiday entitlement (inc Bank Holidays) rising to 38 days after 10 years’ service, a great pension scheme, an exceptional array of apprenticeships, wilko PERKS flexible benefits (such as great discounts on shopping, days out, holidays, health and fitness and money-saving schemes to cut the costs of childcare), holiday homes and most importantly 20% team member and family discount in store and online.
