Role Overview & Responsibilities

Junior Payroll Assistant | London Hybrid

Due to ongoing growth an exciting a career changing opportunity has arisen at this vibrant and modern Accountancy practice in Tower Hill for a Junior Payroll Officer to join our growing team.

If your looking to progress in your career then look no further!

The role will involve:


  • Processing multiple payrolls for multiple clients for weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls.
  • Payrolls will be managed from start to finish including inputting all details received from client for holidays, start and leave dates and hours worked.
  • Liaising with HMRC -PAYE, RTI
  • Payroll journals
  • General payroll duties as directed by the Senior Payroll Manager

Skills and Experience:

Desirable

  • Experienced end to end payroll processor including Pension, PAYE
  • Experience of Tronc not essential
  • Experience of Brightpay or similar system
  • Excellent communication and administration skills include systems data input, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Good knowledge of IT systems
  • Effective organisational skills
  • Strong team player
  • Flexibility to respond to multiple priorities in a fast paced and high pressure environment.
  • Adaptable
