Whilst working on a 12 month contract as an IT Project Manager you will undertake many tasks including:
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and customers
- Define, communicate and confirm agreement to project context and objectives with all key stakeholders
- Develop and manage project plans and related artefacts, (work breakdown, structure etc.) to determine the duration, sequencing and dependencies for the project schedule
- Establish a R.A.I.D register and appropriate reporting/management process
- Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
- Provide project updates on a regular basis to steering committees and internal/external stakeholders
- Estimate project costs and develop the project budget. Monitor and control project billings, expenditure and cashflow.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for assigned work
- Ensure that appropriate quality assurance processes are effectively applied to the project processes and deliverables
