JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Office Cargo Agent
Responsible to: Operations Manager
Division / Line of Business: Cargo
Location: BBS
MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE
The Office Cargo Agent objectives are to ensure we are engaging with our customers, understanding their requirements and meeting all the deadlines. The person must have effective communication skills and be able to perform security tasks as mandated by the CAA protocols to aid and assist in the efficient running of a busy cargo operation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Export/ Import document and freight reception duties.
· Truck and flight manifesting.
· Import / Export Flight Creation and completion.
· ABS5 functions including manifesting, post flights, full data capture.
· Dangerous goods checking (after training).
· Live animal (AVI) Acceptance (after training).
· NCTS / ICS knowledge and completion.
· Timely response to telephones and email communications.
· Bond check reconciliation.
· Consignment invoicing and monetary reconciliation.
· Maintain the highest levels of security in line with CAA DfT requirements.
· All ABS and systems housekeeping in line with Supervisory guidance.

REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge:
· Export/Import Documentation.
· Dangerous goods acceptance and handling.
· General cargo legislation awareness.
· Manual handling and safe practice.
· Health & Safety legislation.
· Knowledge of Aviation Security Legislation.
Skills:
· Numerate and literate.
· Computer knowledge and literacy.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Ability to accept responsibility.
· Good communication skills.
· DVLA Full Driving License.
SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES
· In any role at WFS, employees are the eyes and ears of the business and must report any security concerns or suspicious behaviour.
· Ensure site access control is protected and no unescorted visitors are on site.
· Ensure the security integrity of cargo is always protected.
· Ensure all security documentation is fully compliant.

Salary: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
