Role: Production Worker
Location: Huddersfield
Pay: £10.70, Temporary to Permanent
XCL Group are currently recruiting for a leading tool manufacturer in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. They are looking for Production Workers due to an increase in business. The position would be temporary to permanent after 12 weeks.
The main duties of the Production Worker will be, but not limited to:
· Operating machinery and hand tools in order to produce high quality products, ensuring that all quality specifications are met.
· Move products to dedicated areas, some of the products can vary in weight from 2 – 12kg.
· Prepare products for dispatch ensuring that no damage can come to the items.
· Follow 5S standards at all times. Ensure that all health and safety procedures all followed, including Covid guidelines.
· Assist other team members if required, and be willing to work individually.
Preferred Skills/ Experience:
· Be organised and able to multitask.
· Have a good eye for detail.
· Ability to use own initiative, and follow instructions correctly.
· Fork Lift Truck license would be beneficial, but not essential for this role.
Hours of Work:
· Monday – Friday, 7.45am – 4.20pm.
· 40 hour work week.
Pay:
· £10.70 per hour
· Temporary – Permanent
· Monthly production bonus once perm.
